Isabel Arocena en su taller

Isabel Arocena was raised under the influence of the Basque sculptor Oteiza, who was closely linked to her family. She was educated in architecture between Belgium, Lisbon and Madrid. Subsequently, she moved to Rome for a year-long collaboration with the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome. It was during this chapter that the hunger to sculpt arose.

She is currently based in Madrid.
